NEWSFLASH!

Regular visitors to my site here will notice that I’ve not posted for a while; and there is a very good reason. This spring we put our lovely home here in France up for sale and we have now sold. And – big drumroll – we have also bought an adorable cottage on the Isle of Arran in Scotland.

Now, if thats not a reason for radio silence then I don’t know what is.

We did a lot of soul-searching over the winter, and this together with my son asking us to return to the UK, coupled with changing tax regimes here, we have decided that it’s time for us to return to our home. We haven’t lived in Scotland since 2005, shortly after John and I married, and we just miss it, the people and the vibrant culture, and so we are in the middle of packing, sorting vehicles, getting dogs vaccinated etc in preparation for the move. And it’s a BIG and complicated move for us. I’ll be making a video blog on YouTube, but for now, I’m sharing a photo of our new home.
