Happy New Year to everyone
Yes, the old year is gone and many will be saying ‘Thank Goodness’. Let’s all hope for a much better, much happier 2024. Here in France, we have been busy weeding our no-dig beds, which have been mulched and are now ready to plant again. We are also waiting for lambing. Like expectant fathers, we are keeping a close eye on Elsie & Doris, who; although they haven’t been scanned, are due to lamb any time between now and we think mid-January. Elsie might go first, so we have been supplementing their feed with hay and concentrates and watching as their beach-ball tummies swell.
We have had a quiet festive period with our grown up children staying in the UK, but I may venture across the channel to visit in late January, you never know. Meantime, I’ve been drawing and photographing. Here are some pictures for you.
