The Dreaded Lurgy

Well, I had an interesting time on my short visit to the UK last week. Manchester is a fun, vibrant city and full of friendly people and I totally understand why my son loves it so much, but God; compared to France the weather was COLD. I have returned to damp France with an ear infection and a chest infection, so am staying indoors to recover, in front of my lovely log burner and cuddling my lovely dogs.

Never mind – we had a good visit and visited Liverpool, Jodrell Bank, the Peak District and had a great surprise visit to a jazz club, which was great fun. And so, I’m home and planning ahead, catching up on paperwork and generally keeping busy. There may be a surprise announcement later in the year, but that can wait.
